Tonight! Lenka Clayton & Prof Jon Rubin Lecture on their Carnegie International Project

Both Lenka Clayton and Jon Rubin are known for their extensive work in social practice and public engagement. Rubin’s interventions into public life reimagine individual, group, and institutional behavior, while Clayton’s work considers, exaggerates, and alters the accepted rules of everyday life. They will speak about their collaborative project "Fruit and Other Things" for the Carnegie International tonight at 6:30pm in Kresge Theatre. read more

In his Orphan Morphin' presentation, filmmaker and curator Craig Baldwin “surfs the wave of obsolescence” using spoken word, graphics and motion picture clips to advocate for the re-working of marginalized film material. read more

Encounters with Tactical Aesthetic

In a new installation, David Noel MFA ’21 presents a speculative future as a medium for understanding the present, using tacit knowledge to bring military tactics to the public. read more

Kamal Sinclair serves as the Director of the Sundance Institute’s New Frontier Labs Program, which supports artists working at the convergence of film, art, media and technology. read more

Lecture Series: Sean Lynch
Mar 5, 6:30pm, Kresge Theatre

Sean Lynch’s sculptures, installations, and multimedia work stems from an interest in the role that history, especially forgotten history, plays in our lives. Lynch is a visiting professor in the area of sculpture for the spring term. read more
