Winter is slowly on the run & the first buds are coming through.
I hope you've managed to keep away the winter blues
with risengrød and left over julebrygge :)
First off, me and my musical multi-instrumental compadre Bjarke Falgren will be playing 4 dates in Denmark in the next few weeks including Jazzhus Montmartre Copenhagen (YAY!) on the 10 April and some nice dates in Jylland. I'm not so 'big' yet in Jylland ;) so if you know any folks up there who you think may enjoy our shows, we'd be so pleased if you'd forward this mail on! Dates are:

And lastly, here's something I want to share with you.
Back on a snowy January day a few weeks ago, Bjarke and I arrived at Brorsons Kirke in Nørrebro to shoot two music vids with Emile Carlsen (Møn Sessions). It was a super fun session (punctuated by pain au chocolat and extra strong coffee), getting to create and laugh with these two excellent humans. And one of the videos we shot was for an as yet unrecorded song of mine, 'Red Balloon'.
it's a song about
forbidden love and longing
about yearning for the hills
and reading palms and
gazing from the outside at houses lit up like lanterns
and dreaming of the world inside
the sensation of floating, weightlessly, into the clouds
with no ties or binds, to be nothing and nobody
for just a moment.
