Lavender Graduation is a celebration of LGBTQ graduates of the University of Michigan. Graduates from any school/college in the University from any academic level are welcome to participate. All participants will receive a FREE rainbow 2019 tassel, lavender cords, and a Lavender Degree!
Families, students, faculty, and staff are all welcome to join the celebration. Light appetizers will be served after the ceremony.
Considering the great work you do with and alongside LGBTQ students, nominate and/or self-nominate graduating students or student organizations who have done advocacy work and/or impacted the LGBTQ community.

Change it Up! is looking for students to facilitate a 90-minute workshop that introduces first-year and transfer students to bystander intervention skills for the purpose of building inclusive and respectful communities. During the Fall 2019 semester Change it Up! will host over 50 workshops with audiences of approximately 100 students, each facilitated by two student facilitators in collaboration with the University of Michigan Education Theater Company (UMetc).
