New at this year’s conference is a pre-Summit convening we’re helping to coordinate in partnership with Solutions Journalism Network at Resolve Philadelphia. This event, starting at 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 16, will include a deep-dive look at Resolve and how it works, and include lots of peer discussion about collaboration.

The Summit will continue early on Friday at the studios of WHYY, where we’ll discuss the current state of collaborative journalism, hear keynotes from the BBC and City Bureau, dive into impact-tracking for collaborations, discuss how to build media cooperatives, and take a tour of more than a dozen unique collaborative efforts across the United States.

Students from Montclair State UniversityTemple University and Rowan University will be on hand to help run the Summit, so if you’re looking for early-career journalists or future interns to hire, we’ve got you covered.

Thanks to the generous support of our sponsors, including the Knight FoundationLenfest InstituteDemocracy Fund and Montclair State University, we’re able to keep ticket prices low. Each $50 ticket includes food and drinks on Thursday night, and breakfast, lunch and snacks on Friday.

Space at the Summit is limited to 200 people, so sign up today to reserve your spot.

And last, if you are a technology or media-related vendor looking to get in front of the Summit’s audience, we still have sponsorship opportunities available for tables in the lobby. Contact Stefanie Murray at murrayst@montclair.edu for more info.

We’ll be announcing more in the coming weeks. Look for a full agenda to be published by the end of March.
