The Electric VTOL Revolution @ Heli-Expo
On Wed. morning, March 6, 2019, VFS is hosting a special two-hour panel at the Helicopter Association International (HAI) Heli-Expo trade show at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia, Room B310. Moderated by acclaimed journalist Elan Head of Vertical Magazine, the panel features leaders in the helicopter industry discussing how eVTOL aircraft are poised to revolutionize the vertical flight industry — and perhaps society as a whole.

6th Annual Electric VTOL Symposium
The Vertical Flight Society's 6th Annual Electric VTOL Symposium was held on Jan. 29-31 as part of the 8th Biennial Autonomous VTOL Technical Meeting, in Mesa, Arizona. This sold-out event had more than 375 attendees and was another watershed event in supporting the development of electric VTOL and urban air mobility.
All attendees have been sent a link to download PDFs of the technical papers and the invited presentations. (Check the email address that you used to register for the event.)
If you missed this blockbuster event, you can download the invited presentations. VFS members can log in and download all of the presentations in the eVTOL Symposium at no charge! In addition, the Autonomous VTOL technical papers are available for purchase from the Vertical Flight Library.
The eVTOL Symposium and the short courses on eVTOL Design and eVTOL Aeromechanics & Acoustics Prediction Software were video-recorded — nearly 40 hours of video in total! The Symposium videos will be online by March 1 and available for VFS members at no charge; the two short courses will be available for video-on-demand purchases in the next two weeks. Details will be posted at www.vtol.org/videos.
