And 2019 is off with a bang! Normally post-holiday winter months are a great time for me to catch my breath after the busy holiday season. But this year has kept me on my toes with travels to Sri Lanka and India (more on that below) and exhibiting at my first wholesale show, the National Stationary Show in New York City. ATTEND: The 2nd Annual Norooz Festival celebrating the Persian New Year on March 16 is at the Arts Walk in Brookland. Enjoy live music, local retail, and family friendly activities to ring in the new year.
EXPLORE: Traveling Spoons offers travelers meals "off the eaten path" and connects them with authentic food experiences in local homes around the world. I connected and cooked with chef Shilpa while in Sri Lanka to make a homecooked vegetarian feast.
