ONE DAY ONLY!

You don't want to miss this seminar. Grandmaster Rayford is one of the worlds best...

Join us for a incredible seminar on Tonfa instructed by the brilliant Okinawan Arts and Weapons expert, Grandmaster Sid Rayford!

With or without Martial Arts experience, anyone can quickly begin to learn the Tonfa. In this seminar you'll learn about the ancient art of the Tonfa; farmer's tool turned defensive weapon. You'll go home with some actionable self defense knowledge and most importantly you'll have loads of fun. Believe us, these 3 hours will fly by too quickly and you'll be hungry for more.

Gm Rayford is a dear friend of SGm and Sr Professor Crimi's, a powerful and graceful Martial Artist, an inspirational speaker and a wonderful human being.

SGm Crimi holds Gm Rayford in such high regard that he entrusted the passing of the torch of ATAMA, the American Teachers Association of the Martial Arts; a prestigious Martial Arts organization for teachers and instructors founded in the early 80's by Gm Duke Moore. Gm Rayford is the President of ATAMA.

SID RAYFORD, HANSHI BIO

Hanshi Sid Rayford, of Merced, California began training in karate in 1969 and is nearing the completion of 50 years of training and 30 years of teaching.

The first 21 years of his journey was training in a traditional style called Shito-Ryu karate, a Japanese style made popular in the United States by the efforts of Grandmaster Fumio Demura.

The last 29 years of the journey has been training in a Koryu (old school) style called Kobayashi Shorin-Ryu Karate. Sid Rayford’s teacher, Grandmaster Sid Campbell-10th Dan, was a pioneer of Shorin-Ryu and the first to open a Shorin-Ryu dojo on the West Coast of the United States.

Under Grandmaster Sid Campbell, Sid Rayford’s martial arts training included both Okinawan karate and Okinawan kobudo (ancient weapons). The weapons training included the Okinawan Jigen-Ryu sword, sai's, bo, and the tonfa's.

As the senior student of the late Grandmaster Sid Campbell, Sid Rayford is a full-time instructor and currently ranked a 9th Dan in both karate and kobudo.

He and his wife Amy Rayford, Renshi own and operate the highly successful Rayford Shorin-Ryu Karate and Kobudo school in Merced, CA.
