We will conclude the Civil War. Students will learn about the differences between the union and confederate states and some of the major battles that occurred. Capital Quiz #3 is on Wednesday, March 13. We will have the Civil War unit test on Friday, March 15.
This week students will be working on Section 8. This sections include the topics:  Arithmetic with Units of Measures, Volume of a Rectangular Prism, Proportions, Order of Operations, Using Cross Products to Solve Proportions, Area of a Circle, Finding Unknown Factors, Using Proportions to Solve Ratio Word Problems, Estimating Square Roots, Measuring Turns. 

Pi Day will be on March 14th!
- Students are working on Lesson 5 - Sports.They're working on reading the story and conversation. They are also learning new vocab. words and grammars. 
- Students received their H.W sheet it will be due on Monday. 
- Spelling test is due Monday. 
- Reading log sheet and the story summery are due Monday.

- Students are working on Al-Qaida An-Nuraniyah lesson 13

This week, we will finish up our unit on historical nonfiction and have a test on Thursday and Friday. We will review the reading skills that are important for this assessment, and we will review verb tenses (with a focus on the progressive tense). We will also focus on revising some past writing assignments, paying particular attention to organization and completely responding to the prompt.

This week students will further our unit on chemistry. We will be learning about solutions, compounds, elements, and mixtures. We will do a lab separating mixtures.

School-wide Competition will be Thursday, March 21st.
We are covering the lessons from Surat Nuh and how to apply the lessons in our lives.
