A Word from Our Director

 

As staff and members of Laurel Hill Nursery School we have the honor and responsibility of providing the children with a safe environment to learn through play. Our philosophy and practices create the basis for the children’s program and provide a foundation for Parent Education. The Children’s Bill of Rights is a document that restates our philosophy and policies as rights for all the children of LHNS. I'd like to take some time to reintroduce the document and to hear your input and feedback. Look for information in an upcoming Indoor Voice and join us for a Tea & Talk Meeting or Town Hall Meeting in March.

 

Community Fundraising

Good Eggs

 

Hey LH! The Good Eggs Fundraiser is back! This March and April, Good Eggs will donate 5% back to Laurel Hill Nursery School every time you shop. Enroll in the fundraiser by visiting schools.goodeggs.com, entering the code LAURELHILL19, and placing an order. 5% will go back to the school starting on February 25, but you can place an order with the code ahead of time to enroll early. Haven’t tried GoodEggs? You’ll get $15 off your first order when you enroll!

Scheduling

The year is winding down, which means you should have a plan in place for completing those work hours and parent ed obligations. Here is a quick breakdown of work parties that are currently on the calendar. Please note this is not an exhaustive list of work hour opportunities; other work parties and miscellaneous hours may arise as the year goes on.
