Police appeal over dead deer
Police are appealing for information after dead deer were found in the Roydon and Harlow area on three separate occasions.
The first incident occurred in Roydon last December with a further two reports in Harlow reported since then.
The latest was reported last Tuesday (March 5) when three deer carcasses were found in woodland off greensward near Harlow Crematorium.
Police are investigating whether the deer were killed from either snaring or coursing.
Officers are urging people to be vigilant and take extra care while out walking dogs or horse riding.
Anyone who finds a snare or has information about suspicious activity is asked to ring the Essex Police Gypsy, Traveller and Rural Engagement Team on 101 or Crimestoppers Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
