Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Riina Luik, and I am the President of the Ventana Parents Association. I have two children enrolled at Ventana School: Silvi, a kindergartener, and Roland, a preschooler. We may have met at a Sunday service, or you may have seen my family at various church activities, like the Shrove Tuesday pancake dinner or a Summer picnic. If we have not met yet, I hope to change that soon!
I am writing today to invite all of you to the Ventana Spring Social and Auction on April 6, at 5:00 p.m. in Parish Hall. The parent community is very excited for this adults-only event when parents, staff, alumni, and parishioners will share an evening of fun and camaraderie. This year’s Spring Social, titled “One for the Books”, will feature a cocktail hour, a buffet dinner, raffle, and auction. In celebration of our literary theme, I encourage all guests to dress as a favorite literary character. Feel free to get creative!
Most importantly, members of our community will come together as friends to reflect on how our collective love and support have built Ventana into the thriving school that members of Christ Church imagined so many years ago.
