Creston Native Plant Initiative

The Living Green in Creston committee is busy at work to bring opportunities to gather and learn about caring for the environment through a new program called Creston Native Plant Initiative.    

The first event of the series is "The Living Garden," a presentation by Amy Heilman about native plants in an urban neighborhood like Creston.  April 24 at 7:00pm at Vista Springs, 2420 Coit Ave NE 

Throughout the months to come, stay tuned for more information on the following Living Green in Creston activities:
  • Taking care of bumpout bioretention landscaping
  • More Meatless Monday potlucks! 
  • A spring and fall perennial exchange
  • A native plant and polinators tour  of the MSU Extension garden
