HAVE STRIKE PTSD? COME TO THE PTA MEETING TONIGHT!

Whether you came to school, a solidarity site or a picket line over the last 2 weeks, the Teachers' Strike has focused the attention of the city, the state, and the nation on the extent to which our communities must better support our public education system. The PTA invites the community to come together in the Claremont Music Room tonight at 6:30 to celebrate the resumption of school and to strategize about how we can most effectively support Claremont's academic success going forward. Please join us! Free community dinner served at 6 p.m. Meeting at 6:30 p.m.

OAKLAND LACROSSE CLUB

Is your Knight interested in learning lacrosse this spring? There are still openings on both the U12 Boys & U12 Girls OLC teams, so CMS 6th graders (or 7th graders that are young for their grade) can still join a team. The Oakland Lacrosse Club practice every Tuesday and Thursday at Laney College from 5 - 7 and play games in the area most weekends during the season (carpools available to all games).

No prior lacrosse experience necessary, the program is FREE and equipment is provided for all players. The League works with families to remove any barrier for OUSD kids to participate.

R4R training rides! Gather your friends and family for an upcoming training ride. The next Easy Rider ride is on March 9th if no rain. MOTR (Middle of the Road) rides happen each Saturday until the main event on April 27th! Check out the R4R calendar for more info!

Email your submission to news@claremontms.org. Submissions should be brief (100 to 200 words is best) and thoughtfully written, with essential times, dates and contact info included.
