The Hasura GraphQL Engine is now on it’s 39th release. Here are some of the features that we’ve added over the last few weeks:

• The Hasura GraphQL Engine is available as a 1-click integration on Digital Ocean and Microsoft Azure.
• We've added support for stringified JWT claims so that AWS cognito works out of the box for auth (See #1176 for more details)
• Renaming things is EASY! Till just a few days ago, renaming tables, columns, and relationships required you to drop related hasura configuration and add it again. Now if you rename a column or a table, relationships and permissions update automatically too. (closes #1449 and #1464)

Some of our contributors have put up sample apps and boilerplates that help you implement authentication with the Hasura GraphQL Engine:

• Firebase Authentication with Hasura - This sample app, by @leoalves, demonstrates how to use Firebase Auth service to handle the authentication flow (generate JWT token, manage token expiration and renew, reset password, etc ) and how you can configure Hasura to validate the token.
• Authentication with JWT, Hasura claims and multiple roles - This is a sample auth JWT service for authenticating requests to the Hasura GraphQL Engine, that also exposes login and signup endpoints. By @plmercereau.
