Joy is a very confident 4-year-old girl who loves to learn in pre-school and yet she and her two siblings have experienced a very traumatic life at very young ages. Joy’s mom passed away last year, two months after giving birth to a baby boy named Obed who is now 9 months old.  Their 10-year-old sister, Gladys has been immobilized from a childhood spinal cord illness that has defied all treatment attempts so far.  Wambua, the children’s dad does odd jobs to provide for the family, but it has been an uphill task to adequately provide for the children. 

The good news is that the kids’ aunt, Florence, though financially unstable, has stepped in to take care of the children.  What she needs is a hand-up to enable her to raise these beautiful children.  That is why I am writing this note today. I am asking you or someone in your network(s) to prayerfully consider sponsoring Joy and/or baby Obed. Tumaini will get Gladys checked at our medical clinic and determine if anything can be done to improve the quality of her life.  She will also be assessed to determine if attending a special education school would be a suitable option.
