The Sprayberry Band of Gold is hosting its annual March Mattress Madness fundraiser along with a bake sale next Saturday. With very little funds from the county going to our fine arts programs, it is up to us as Boosters, parents, guardians, and students to all do our part raising money for our program in order for it to continue to be successful. The Band fees, that are annually determined through a budgeting process, include all of the expenses associated with providing instruments, uniforms, music, meals, transportation, Assistant Directors, and so much more.

WHAT TO EXPECT

No assembly or take-down efforts needed; the vendor company does everything. We only need support being present and chaperoning the volunteer students.
Sale starts at 10:00 am and goes through 5:00 pm.
A percentage of the sales will benefit the Sprayberry Band Boosters Association to help keep our students' band costs down and enhance our program.
BONUS REFERRAL: $50 per mattress sold goes to the student's band account, if the customer has a flyer with the student's name on it. So get those flyers out!
A bake sale will run in conjunction with the mattress sale, and we need baked treats and goodies! (See below for more info.)

HOW YOU CAN HELP

STUDENTS:
- Pick up a packet of flyers in the band room. Pass these out to friends, family, and neighbors!
- Sign up to come and help with publicity. We will need sign spinners, smiling faces, and more! (Sign-up will be posted in band room soon.)

PARENTS/GUARDIANS/FAMILY MEMBERS:
- Pass out flyers to friends and coworkers!
- Sign up to come and help greet people and show the community what a great organization we are!
- Send in baked goods for the bake sale that will run in conjunction with the mattress sale!

Baked Goodies Needed!

Bake some treats to sell at the Bake Sale! All items will be sold for $1. Please package your treats so they are ready to sell! Drop these items off any time before noon on Saturday!

Can You Help Chaperone?

We need a few parents to be on campus throughout the day to help direct people to the band room and provide assistance where needed. Don't worry - You WILL NOT be selling mattresses or setting up/taking down the showroom (they do all that for us). Thanks in advance for your help!
