There is no youth Sunday School this week. It resumes on March 17th at 9:00 am.

The retreat is coming up this weekend. If you are registered, then here is all of the details that you need to know.

We are leaving from Hawkwood Baptist Church on Friday night sometime after 5:45 pm. Come to the church to check in, and when the bus comes we will be ready to board.

Our Camp speaker is Alison Springer (from Calgary, Alberta). The worship team is from Praire Bible College. Camp Carline has excellent facilities available for our use. You will want to be ready to use the gym, pool and games rooms. You might also want to bring with you cards or board games to play. There will be a canteen that opens for a couple of hours on Saturday afternoon. You can buy candy there, or you might want to pack some snacks for yourself as well.

We will be returning to Hawkwood Baptist Church at approximately 2:45 on Sunday afternoon. Students are encouraged to text or call their parents on the drive home with an estimated time of arrival. Parents, we really appreciate you being on time to pick up the kids. At this point in the weekend the volunteers are exhausted and so your promptness is very appreciated.

Cell phone service is quite spotty at Camp Caroline. You can text, or iMessage Pastor Grant at 403.818.5213. Additionally, Camp Caroline’s emergency contact number (for weekends) is 403.722.9906. No news is good news. That means that if we don’t contact you, things are well, we have arrived safely, etc. None the less, don’t hesitate to call or text if you have any questions, concerns, etc.

Packing: Please pack light as all of our luggage needs to fit on the bus with us.

Toothpaste, Toothbrush

Hand-soap, Shampoo, Body Wash, Deodorant, etc

Towel

Swimming Suit (Modest)

Non Marking Shoes for the gym

Enough clothes and PJ’s for the weekend

Sleeping Bag (or sheets and Comforter) and Pillow

Water Bottle

Clothes for being in the great outdoors, (Snow Gear)

If you are bringing any medication, please make sure that the leaders know (for your safety).
