Seminars for youth engagement
The Estonian Green Movement/FoE Estonia, as well as their youth group organised three seminars in February engaging young people to think about upcoming elections and how it affects their lives.
The seminars included some psychological learning to give participants an idea about how their thinking can be affected by different external factors. A second part was dedicated to analysis of political programmes of different parties from environmental aspects to topics related to young people.
The whole seminar created lively discussions, and showed clearly that young people care a lot about the environment. Some wise words from a young participant are good to conclude the seminars: "Be the change you want to see!"

Environmental networking meeting in Russia
October 25, 2018, YFoE Russia organised a one-day meeting for environmental networking. Representatives of 18 organisations, movements and associations from 9 Russian regions and 2 regions of Norway took part in the event. Participants learnt about YFoE Russia, its activities, projects and campaigns, plans for the future, as well as the resources and opportunities that YFoE Russia offers its members.
The YFoE Europe coordinator, Zivile, explained via video about the principles, directions and results of the activities of YFoEE in the fight for systemic changes, and a representative of YFoE Norway gave an insight on why youth organisations are needed and the serious role they can play in changing the world. The official part of the meeting ended with a training on the power and privileges that we all possess, but sometimes forget about.
