Priority One 2019 Kingdom Builders Project
Tanzania Seminary

This will be the only English-speaking Assemblies of God Seminary serving all 53 countries of Africa.  Leaders and leaders to be, will come from all over the Continent to further their education, as they lead their nations to Christ.
 
Currently, a student is sponsored by his church to attend one of several seminaries in the USA.  Usually outside help is needed because the schools are very expensive.  The student goes, and more often than not, falls in love with the American lifestyle and never comes back home!  This critically important Tanzanian seminary will keep the education in the Continent where the student is and will then stay.
 
Living Water is partnering with 12 other churches to make this happen !

WHAT IS “ONE DAY” ?

“One Day to Feed the World” is Convoy of Hope’s annual fund raising campaign. By taking part, you will help transform the lives of children by helping provide healthy living through nutritious food, clean and safe drinking water and much more. Work one day. Give that day’s wage. Your “One Day” changes their every day!  This offering will be received on Easter Sunday (April 21).

SCRIPTURE NEARING COMPLETION - GHANA
Nyalota Cluster Project ( Heart Language for 18,300)

Praise God for all of the progress made this past year in the Nyalota Clus­ter Pro­ject (Logba, Nyan­gobo and Tafi lan­guages)!  Four­teen additional books were com­pleted, and now the trans­la­tion teams can see their dreams of a New Tes­ta­ment in their heart language be­com­ing a reality.

  • Ask the Lord to keep the translators and consultants healthy as they near the end of the project.  Pray for wisdom, inspiration and a renewed sense of motivation to finish the few remaining books.
  • Lift up the Logba, Nyangobo and Tafi people as they await their New Testaments.  Pray that published Scripture portions already available will impact their communities and churches.
  • Ask the Holy Spirit to use the Word to change lives so drastically that others cannot help but inquire who Jesus is. 
This month we have added support for missionaries David and Chastidy Parks.  They have worked in Bristol England since 2013.  Prior to moving to England they served 8 years in Azerbaijan working with the national church.  The Parks have planted a thriving church in Bristol that recently celebrated its third anniversary and has gone to 2 services to accommodate the people (approximately 120 are attending on a Sunday).  They are also serving on a national church planting team that is training and equipping other church planters in the UK.

PRAYER REQUEST
  • Pray for Chaplain Marcus Baird and April 5th fund raising banquet - he has an $11,000 support deficit.
  • Pray that the renewal visas for the Parks come through.  Currently Chastidy cannot return to England and her family cannot come here for their daughters graduation from Evangel Univsersity.
