As a conference may we pray this prayer
together every day during Lent:
God,
remind me again today that
you are Love;
that Loving is always expressed in action
not beliefs.
Remind me again today
that your love was made visible
in creation,
in Jesus,
in the Church, the body of Christ.
Remind me again today
that it is through love, not
right vs wrong,
good vs evil, that
we are saved.
Remind me again today that you
gather us all,
love us all,
sanctify us all,
call us all,
to be one —
in Christ,
with each other,
in ministry to
all the world.

Don't forget to start your
daily devotions for Lent
As one body of the Church, we, as a people of the United Methodist Church of Lenox, will begin our 40 day journey to the cross with daily devotions from "The Easter Code" written by O. S. Hawkins. The church offers this book, one per household, for the spiritual practice of the congregation. If you were not at worship last Sunday, you most likely did not receive this book, but several remain at the desk in the church foyer. You may pick one up when you come to Sunday Worship Service.

Upcoming Sunday Worship Service
There will be a financial status report offered by the Chair of the Finance Committee, Chris Perkins, after the worship service in the sanctuary.
Game night with potluck dinner,
Friday, March 8, 5:00-7:00 p.m.
A potluck dinner and "Getting to Know You" games to enjoy together is on the menu on Friday. The Perkins' are making an old fashioned spaghetti supper with meat sauce and penne. You can whip up something to share if you want but it isn’t required. Bring friends, games and join us for fellowship and fun.
Sunday Morning Coffee Hour Reminder
We are always glad to receive baked goods and treats for everyone to share during Coffee Hour on Sunday mornings. If you would like to bring something to share, there is a "sign up" sheet on the counter by the kitchen. Although, it's not necessary to sign-up prior to bringing something, it does help us plan better for each Sunday.
