 What's The Point Of Prayer?
Three Prayers God Welcomes

Does prayer really do anything?  Does it change things?  If God is sovereign then why does it matter if I pray?

Tomorrow at First Watch Ryan Sanders is going to lead us in a conversation around three types of prayers we see exemplified in scripture.  These are not the nice "lay me down to sleep" type of prayers but honest gut level conversations with God.  You'll leave with a better understanding of how to make your time on your knees (or in your chair) more meaningful.

First Watch is every Friday at 6:22 AM in the Commons at Irving Bible Church.

First Watch is honest conversation, hot coffee, fresh donuts and bananas.
