Admission to our June house concert is an exclusive perk for those people who buy the four-night pass to Twangfest 23 (June 5 – 8 at Off Broadway). On Saturday, June 8, Superchunk will play an acoustic set at our place; their first appearance in St. Louis since they played Mississippi Nights in 1993 (anyone remember the exact date?). Beer, soft drinks and food will be provided.
Superchunk is mostly known for their soaring electric live sets, but here are a couple samples of the band in acoustic mode:

The setlist for this afternoon show will be different from the songs you will hear when the band closes out Twangfest 23 with an electric set at Off Broadway later that night.

Confirmation details for this afternoon reception/concert will be emailed to everyone who purchases the four-night pass. Even if you can’t make it to all four nights of Twangfest, you might want to buy a four-night pass as a way of supporting Twangfest (St. Louis’ long-running roots-rock festival), as well as getting to attend this special, intimate set by Superchunk; this will be their first St. Louis appearance in decades.
