It seems that making friends on the doorstep may becoming a thing of the past for many in Northern Ireland as 46% of us don’t know our neighbours’ names and only 25% would knock on a new neighbour’s door to welcome them to the neighbourhood.

One of the Sainsbury Family Charitable Trusts. Each year the Woodward Charitable Trust fund summer playschemes for children between the ages of 5-16 years. Most grants awarded are in the range of £500 to £1,000. Around 35 grants are made each year.

BMA Giving: Charitable Purposes Subcommittee
BMA Giving is a committee of BMA members who meet annually to determine the grants which are made by the BMA to healthcare charities for projects that create lasting benefits to patient care, the medical profession or medical/health research. Grants are up to £50,000 although smaller grants will also be considered.

Executive Office: Minority Ethnic Development Fund (MEDF)
Pprovides support for voluntary and community organisations working with minority ethnic people and groups.
