Nominations for new BioSB board member

 
Barbara Bakker will step down as member of the BioSB board. The board solicits active BioSB members who are a group leader in systems biology or bioinformatics at a Dutch university or research institute as candidates for the new position. The following procedure will be followed to select a new board member:
  1. Candidates send a short motivation to the BioSB board before 28 March 2019;
  2. From the candidates the BioSB board will select a nominee and will ask the members for approval during the BioSB Members meeting on 2 April 2019;
  3. The new board member will start her/his term on 1 June 2019.

BioSB members meeting - 2 April 2019


We invite all those interested to join the BioSB members meeting which will be organised on 2 April 2019 (12:45 - 14:00, lunch will be available) on the first day of the BioSB 2019 conference. Join us to hear about the latest updates from our research school and to give us your input.

The BioSB course portfolio will be renewed in 2019. We are happy to announce three new 5-day in-depth courses, hosted by experts in the BioSB community: Please visit the BioSB website for more details on teachers, dates, course contents etc.

We are also working hard on setting up two new core courses, which will be taught annually:
  • “Machine learning for bioinformatics & systems biology” and
  • “Modeling and optimization for bioinformatics & systems biology”.
