At the GSSC, students relax or study and can reserve rooms for study groups or social events. To reserve rooms, please email gssc@oregonstate.edu or check online.

Drop-ins and appointments start in week 2 of each term at the Graduate Student Success Center in the Memorial Union room 203 (above Javastop.) Follow our events site for the latest information.
  • Statistics consulting appointments - Mondays, 9 to 11 a.m.
  • Institutional Review Board (IRB) consulting - Mondays, 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Library research consulting drop-ins - Tuesdays, 1 to 3 p.m.
  • Grad writing help appointments - Thursdays, 4 to 7 p.m.

Graduate Student Appreciation Week is March 31 to April 5. Check out all the happenings! In particular, we have invited Dr. Karen Kelsky from The Professor Is In to host two sessions, one for advisors and faculty and one for students. Both are also available live as a webinar.

Water research: Registration is now open for the Pacific NW Water Research Symposium on April 8-9 at the CH2M Hill Alumni Center. Come present your research and/or artwork, participate in workshops, listen to keynote speakers, network with environmental professionals, attend the film screening, and eat lots of free food. Seventh Annual Representing Masculinities Conference 2019: Men’s Development & Engagement (MDE), in collaboration with campus partners, will host the seventh annual Representing Masculinities Conference at OSU on Saturday, April 13. The primary objective of the conference is to cultivate meaningful conversations about healthy and responsive masculinities to inspire empathy, action, and self-reflection. Conference workshop submissions are being accepted until Thursday, March 28. Conference registration is free and open until Friday, April 5.
