Parent Update ~ Week 28
March 10 - March 16, 2019

 

March 10 - Daylight Savings Begins (see Tardy Policy reminder below)
March 13 - 6 p.m. Cafeteria - Mandatory parent meeting for all 7 - 12 grade students planning on trying out for cheerleader. 
March 16 - 24 - Spring Break
March 28 -  Cheerleading Tryouts - 2 p.m in the PE room
March 28 - Parent/Teacher Conferences
March 29 - No School
March 30 - Prom


Parents, all students were reminded last week of the Tardy Policy according to Student Handbook. Here is the information for your review.

  1. Unexcused tardy if in the halls when the bell rings (no excuses allowed)
  2. No students should be in hall during class.  If you are out of class you have to have a note from your teacher. 
  3. No one is allowed in the Elementary building unless you have a class. 
  4. No one should be in the locker rooms between classes or during another class unless in PE or athletics.
  5. The office is a place of business NO one is allowed to hang out.
  6. We are not an open campus for lunch.  You need to bring your lunch or eat in the cafeteria.  No more calling for someone to bring you lunch or check out for lunch.
Reminder:  Student Handbook
  1.   1st tardy – warning
  2.   2nd tardy – 1 day lunch detention
  3.   3rd tardy -  3 days lunch detention
  4.   4th tardy -   3 days afterschool detention
  5.   5th tardy -  2 days In School Suspension
  6.   6 or more tardies will result in Home Suspension. Missed work cannot be made up.
  7.  Students with 5 or more unexcused tardies during the school year, will lose their exemption privileges for final test.

Key Club meeting March 11th in Mrs. Eggart's room at 12:40.
 
Prom tickets will go on sale tomorrow, March 4th.  Tickets can be purchased from Ms. Bellott.  All tickets should be bought by March 28th.  Tickets are $10.00.  Seniors, Juniors and Prom Court Royalty will receive a free ticket. 

 
March 11 - 15
Monday:  Meatball Sub, Fries, Celery Sticks, Salad Bar, Fruit & Milk
Tuesday:  Chicken Breast, Potatoes w/Gravy, Broccoli, Roll, Salad Bar, Fruit & Milk
Wednesday:  Corn Dog, Baked Beans, Chips, Salad Bar, Fruit & Milk
Thursday:  Popcorn Chicken, Mac & Cheese, Pinto Beans, Salad Bar, Fruit & Milk
Friday:  Cheese Pizza, Corn, Salad Bar, Fruit & Milk
