Candado is a relatively easy Cuban casino move, something of an enchufla variation
Featured move
Candado
Canado translates to padlock in English, it’s sort of a variation on an enchufla. As you can see in the videos, there are a number of ways of doing this move. The gist of it is that the lead holds both hands for an echufla with a wrap – perhaps is this where the padlock idea comes in. This enchufla can be done once or twice. After that another enchufla where the hands are raised over the head and the lead then does a turn, finally hooking the right arm behind the follows back for a dile que no. An alternate variation leads into a train-type ending.
