March Mission of the Month
Easter Baskets!
Sunday, March 31st after Church
Join us after church on Sunday, March 31st, upstairs in the Youth Room to assemble Easter Baskets for the children of military families at Camp Pendleton. Easter Baskets cost $10.00 each to make, and we will make as many baskets as we provide cash to make them. Cash donations may be put in an offering envelope and placed in the offering plate (note “Easter Basket” on the envelope and memo line of checks). Checks can be made out to St. Mark Lutheran Church.
Additionally, we are collecting small candy to put in the Easter eggs for both the Easter baskets and our annual Easter Egg Hunt. Collection will take place through March 31st. Variety bags of Easter candy are welcome.

12th Annual St. Mark Preschool
Art Auction Fundraiser
Saturday, March 23rd @ 5 pm
St. Mark Lutheran Preschool will be hosting their 12th annual Preschool Art Auction. The Art Auction is the preschool annual fundraiser to be held on Saturday, March 23rd at 5 pm. The cost is $30 per person. The auction includes beautiful handmade art created by the preschool children, as well as, silent action theme baskets.
We are collecting items through March 17th to pull together two "beach" themed baskets for the silent auction as we have done for many years. We need your help with donations of money, items for the beach baskets, or other donations for the fundraiser. All items can be dropped off at the church office. Griefshare Support Group
Wednesdays at 10 am
St. Mark is hosting a Griefshare support group from 10 am to 11:30 am. Griefshare is a 13-week, Christian-based program that will walk you through the stages of grief and what to expect, help you to share your experience, and surround you with a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. Safe Families for Children of Olive Crest
Safe Families for Children hosts vulnerable children and creates extended family-like supports for desperate families through a community of devoted volunteers who are motivated by compassion to keep children safe and families intact. Ingathering gift cards in any denomination from Target, Costco, Amazon, etc., to be given by Olive Crest to host families to help supply children’s needs. Easter at St. Mark!
Sunday, April 21st @ 8 am & 10 am
Come and celebrate our Risen Lord with us on Easter Sunday, April 21st at the 8 am and 10 am services, with an "egg-citing" Easter Egg Hunt following the service at 11 am. This will be a memorable experience for you and your family and friends that will include inspiring, and meaningful encounters with God's amazing Word, great music, and an incredible children's message. At the 10 am service, our Preschoolers will be singing, and the Blessed Ballerinas will be sharing a praise dance in an atmosphere that is genuine and empowering for all ages. Little girls Preschool - 2nd Grade are invited to participate in a special, choreographed praise dance to be included in our Easter Morning worship service at 10 am on April 21st! Practices are Sundays through April 14th from 11:15 am to 11:45 am after church and will be led by choreographer Kathryn Baker. & Adult Bible Studies
The Sunday morning, adult Bible study and children's Sunday school is open to everyone. The kids meet upstairs and adults meet downstairs in the Fellowship Hall at 9 am. The Thursday Morning Adult Bible Study begins at 9:30 am in the Fellowship Hall. Join us as we study and grow in God’s Word.
