FC United v York City FC - Match Arrangements

On Saturday 16th March FC United welcome York City to Broadhurst Park, in the National League North kick off 3.00 pm.

FC’s very own Paris St. Germain moment last Saturday at Telford has given everyone the distinct feeling that survival is on. It was not just the result, but the way it was achieved as 5-1 would not have flattered us.

We need to keep the same level of intensity shown at the New Bucks Head and your support will be crucial in ensuring that happens.

Get yourself to that football ground and make a noise!!!!

We urge as many supporters as possible to stay behind after the match as the Function Room will be screening Wolves v Manchester United in the FA Cup quarter final kick off at 7.55 pm.

Entertainment will be laid on in the form of an FA Cup related quiz, and musical entertainment will be provided by our very own Micky O’Farrell. Hot food will be on sale so stay behind and enjoy!!!!

THIS MATCH IS SEGREGATED

Admission is by payment at the turnstiles which open at 1.30 pm.

FC United fans only should enter the ground via turnstiles 4-6 at the St.Mary’s Road end.

We are under a duty to ensure areas such as St Mary’s Road and the north of Nuthurst Road are not used by visitors to Broadhurst Park.

Supporters should be mindful that there is no parking on:

- St Mary’s Road and the streets off St Mary’s Road; including Teddington Road, Merridale Road, Worthington Street and Tymm Street.

- Nuthurst Road;

- the West side of Moston Lane and the streets off it.

We can always use more volunteers to act as traffic marshals and indeed for a number of matchday functions, so if you can help, send an email to volunteers@fc-utd.co.uk or telephone the office on 0161 769 2005 and leave a contact number.

Enjoy the game.

About TOOAB

There’s Only One Arthur Bottom was first published as an almost-daily email newsletter in July 1997 and has been distributed continuously since. Subscriber numbers peaked at more than 1,100 when the club’s future was threatened by potential closure in 2001 but more than 800 subscribers, living in more than 30 countries, will receive this edition. Editor Josh Easby started the newsletter from New Zealand (where he lives today) but has variously produced and distributed it from the United Kingdom, Australia and (briefly) Italy.

Over the years, TOOAB subscribers have variously supported the club in many different ways, using the newsletter at times to share ideas that have helped the club and to raise money which has been used to buy much-needed equipment (for the physio room), sponsor members of the youth team and to sponsor senior players’ kit. Subscribers (who often call themselves ‘Arthurites’) often meet up for pre-match/post-match drinks and have arranged functions together.
