Tafedna - The magical place that makes you grow

Dear Friends of Dancing the Waves

It's wonderful to experience how our guests find their peace, blossom out and depart as enriched personality. Looks like the enchanting Bay of Tafedna touches every soul and makes you grow. We're so grateful to be able to share this magical place with you!

We have sunshine every day and beautiful long waves rolling in to our bay - a delight for every longboard and SUP surfer! For the short board surfers the point break is at its best when the swell gets big.

You want to visit us and enjoy the tranquility and idyllic surrounding but don't fancy surfing nor kitesurfing? No problem at all, we very much look forward to welcome you!

Each double room has a large en-suite, a fire place and direct access to the terrace. Away from civilisation you get to admire the breathtaking starry sky. Organic veggies from the local farmers; the best ingredients for a rich and healthy meal. All rooms offer a beautiful view over the meadows, sand dunes and the Atlantic. Thank you Thomas Bonderf for capturing our Villa in such a beautiful way with attention to all its details.

Swiss Surfer Alena Ehrenbold visited us in "our Paradise"

End of January we had the pleasure to host the famous Swiss surfer Alena Ehrenbold and her photographer Thomas Bonderf in our Villa.
During 10 days we accompanied them in search for the perfect Moroccan waves and for scenic and cultural inspiration for their next film project.

Unfortunately the BIG Wave Tafernicks kicked in after her departure. So come back soon dear Alena and make sure to bring the big swell with you!

Wave of the day - tough session surfing the famous spot Rass Lafaa in Safi competing with all the guys and body boarders! Tasting Snails; famous street food specialty in Safi. Alena found the pleasure in longbaord surfing for which our bay offers the perfect conditions.

Attention to all Kitesurfers!

As of April/May the north wind appears, bringing along good kitesurf conditions. The long sandy beach of Tafedna with its sand dunes is empty and offers the perfect kitesurf environment for beginner and advanced kitesurfers.

You can use or rent our material with or without coaching or bring along your own equipment and profit from our local know-how and assistance on the beach for your safety. Find out more

Impressions of the past weeks in Tafedna

Fun aperitif and skateboard session on our roof terrace. Beautiful surf during sunset. Fayçal with Othman Choufani, back then his surf student and meanwhile professional BIG-Wave Surfer, recently nominated for the XXL Award thanks to the BIG Wave Tafericks in our bay. Simo, our surf instructor, having fun with the longboard. Fayçal in his element and living his passion irrelevant whether coaching the pros or teaching surf beginners.

Skateboard session on the spacious roof terrace of our Villa. Skateboarding is the best condition to improve your stance and progress your surf style!
