 No March General Meeting

There is no general meeting this month because of the Bus trip to the Monet exhibit at the de Young Museum in San Francisco.

April General Meeting

The general meeting in the Berger will feature a docent from the De Young Museum talking about the current Monet Exhibition.  Meet at 10 am for refreshments, 10:30 am for the talk on Friday April 12.

Hangings

The changeover date for hanging art in the Berger and card room is March 9th.  Bring your works to display at 9:30 am that date to Room G in the Berger Center.

Susan Berg will be the featured artist for two months in the Berger Center beginning on March 9th.  Susan has lived in Oakmont with her mother for 25 years, and is now planning her move to Roseville where she can be close to her 2 young grandsons.

Her artistic talent was first recognized in the First Grade when she won the Marin County all city schools annual art contest with a tempera painting of a Pegasus horse on 3 foot wide butcher paper!

Over the years her medium changed from oils and acrylics to watercolor.   For the last 30 years, she has worked exclusively in watercolor, and has won many more awards since the First Grade.

Please plan to visit her solo exhibit of original artwork and framed prints in the Berger Center from March 10 through May 10.
