Brighton was not leaflet friendly today. It was windy and wet, but we dished out a wide range of leaflets to a wide range of people and finished off with a pint in a pub.
The issue now is less about brexit itself rather than our *democracy*. We voted for Brexit, it could have been immediate (repealing the 1973 EU act), but the public patiently waited two and half years... Now there are murmurings of cancelling that long standing deadline (11pm 29th March 2019) and setting another later date...
But the two years were never needed! We could have left two and a half years ago! The public allowed the article 50 delay because they wanted to make it easier on government... but now government have failed us, failed to deliver on the promise, failed to show respect to the leeway we gave them.
If two an a half years aren't enough for the government to get their brexit act together then no amount of time may be enough... So 11pm 29th March 2019 has to be absolute - leave, ready or not.
By the way - do check out Jeff Taylors YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCE3181Md63Eg7uTybf6HgNw he puts up two great brexit videos a day, and check out the Facts4EU website and/or facebook page.

Fellow Brexiteers....
OK, this is the big one, and now it's sudden death so please read carefully. These are the days to book off work to campaign outside the Houses of Parliament:
12th March - vote on May's deal (if we lose that we are dead but we will probably win)
13th March - vote on 'no deal' (this is the big big BIG one. If we win this we win lock stock and barrel!)
14th March - if we lose on the 13th then this will be the day they have a vote on extending Article 50, if we win on the 13th this day we will be boozing. The civil war could start this day.
The Brighton Brexiteers have a favourite spot just by the statue of Cromwell where Its nice to hand out leaflets and chat to passing MPs.
I'm expecting to win on the 12th so a drink in the red lion pub (48 parliament street) that evening could be the last of many magical nights of political banter. If you haven't been able to make previous events and have been keeping your powder dry, then this is the time to turn up.
If we show up we will win, if we don't we won't.
