Milk Vat Monitoring
Vat temperature, plate cooler inlet/outlet temperatures and boiler temp are some of the parameters that can be monitored with Harvest milk vat monitoring. Customizable text, voice and email alerts can be setup to meet MPI standards, or to your own personal requirements. Volume can also be monitored with our optional laser level sensor.
Electric Fence Sensor
Confirm your fences are working without having to check them in person. The electric fence sensor monitors the voltage of an electric fence and can connect to an XLRLRRITU G2, ITU Mini or ITU Micro. Customizable alerts can be setup to notify you via text, voice or email if the fence voltage drops. See an example site here or contact us for more information.

Meet The Team - Sales
"I grew up in the Manawatu and Wairarapa and spent a lot of those younger years on dairy farms, the latter at Taratahi Agricultural Training Centre. My experiences on the farm serve me well at Harvest when it comes to finding solutions for irrigation systems and milk vats (yes, I’ve watched a full vat go down the drain). I personally enjoy the solution-finding aspect of the job, making your life a little bit easier.
In my spare time I love hanging out with my wife and my two young boys (2 and 4), scratching my creative itch by playing music and shooting photos on film/old cameras (yes, you can still buy and develop it), and riding classic motorbikes when I can afford it!" - Sam
South Island Agricultural Field Days - Kirwee
Harvest will be attending South Island Agricultural Field Days in Kirwee from 27-29 March. Visit the stand for a chat with Ben, Jeff and Andrew.
Maintenance Tip
It can be easy to forget about Harvest gear in the business of harvesting. If the gear is easily removable then temporarily uninstalling wireless remotes and temperature sensors can save money on repairs and servicing further down the track. If the gear can't be removed easily we recommend spraying the ground and posts on either side of the gear and with a bright spray paint or marker such as Dazzle (by Dulux). This will help to identify rows that require caution when harvesting to keep your gear safe.

"Now that we have been running the system for several months, we are so confident in it’s ability to switch off if there is a issue, that we can run the irrigator at night when the conditions are right. I can also monitor the system on the laptop or phone and turn it off remotely if for instance we get an unexpected shower of rain."
