Hello scouts and parents of Troop 171! I hope you're all having a great start to the week. 

This is Matthew McConnell and I will be having my Eagle Scout Project workdays in about two weeks on Saturday, March 9th, and Sunday, March 10th, from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm each day at Woodland Heights Elementary School. During the workdays, we will be creating a gravel path, putting in a new tree, and constructing a square bench to go around the tree. I would greatly appreciate it if you could come to help me out with this project! I will need around 10 scouts and 2 or 3 adults to help me with this project each day. Pizza, snacks, and refreshments will be provided. All that you'll need to bring is yourselves and a pair of work gloves.

What: Creating a gravel path, putting in a new tree, and constructing a square bench to go around the tree.

When: Saturday, March 9th, and Sunday, March 10th, from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm each day with pizza, snacks, and refreshments.

Where: Woodland Heights Elementary School, Forest Lake Boulevard, Mooresville, NC. We will be working in the natural area between the sidewalk and the school by the back entrance. Parking will be available in the bus parking lot.
