Armed Robbery - Supermarket, Spring Hill - Person charged
Police have charged a man after he allegedly threatened staff with a knife at a supermarket in Spring Hill on Saturday afternoon.
It will be alleged at 3.55pm a man entered the Turbot Street store and selected some food items before trying to leave the store without paying. Two staff approached the man a he threatened them with a small knife before leaving the store.
Police were notified and located the man in Milne Street.
A 56-year-old Spring Hill man has been charged with one count each to robbery whilst armed, enter premises with intent to commit indicatable offence and assault.
He will appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Monday March 4.
