Ready to Complete
The Bayer Center is announcing the launch of the second cohort for the “Ready to Compete" project, supported by the BNY Mellon Foundation. The second cohort will run from April to August, and will support 14 more nonprofits to strengthen their capacity around finance or human resources management. Each agency in the cohort will begin by partnering with a consultant to complete a thorough, comprehensive assessment of their finance or HR management practices. The product will be a road map of the issues facing the agency and a concrete solution to one or two of the most urgent.

APOST Training
Join us at United Way's Pittsburgh Office for this eye-opening and interactive workshop, Fostering Inclusive Spaces for Children of All Abilities, tailored to increase awareness about disabilities, and to share different ways to make your program space more inclusive for children with disabilities. Often, they are excluded when it comes to spaces for learning and play, but this doesn't have to be the case! Michelle Walker, of Lend An Ear Consulting, will be here to help participants navigate this important topic for Out-of-School Time providers.

A new report, "Future Savings: The Economic Potential of Successful Transitions From Foster Care to Adulthood," turns the lens on young people who age out of foster care and explores four areas, where they fare worse than their general population peers.
