Voices From The Field
This past weekend we partnered with Child360 to convene focus groups with early childhood administrators representing Family Child Care and Center-based programs in Southern California. Participants shared their insights regarding the challenges they face related to staff recruitment and retention, meeting the needs of dual language learners, and other topics related to EECA’s priorities. We look forward to sharing a report of the findings in the coming weeks, to help inform statewide policy and advocacy efforts.

The California Department of Education (CDE) invites all early learning teachers to participate in two surveys (available in English and Spanish) about working in early childhood education (ECE) in California. The surveys ask for your input on what supports are most helpful to you, and what challenges you may be experiencing. We respectfully request that you complete both surveys by March 15, 2019.
