PRO·GRAM
Equity in Chicago Education
A Kids First Perspective
This is the first in Kids First Chicago's new, informal program series exploring topics that impact Chicago's public schools, communities and families. Each session will include brief remarks from a Chicago social-impact sector leader followed by an open reception. The series aims to deepen guests' understanding of the issues facing our city and spur new thinking and connections among citizens who care about our future.
Join us on March 20 for our very first program as we discuss equity and how it effects public education in our city and, most importantly, our students. We will be joined by Natasha Smith Walker, Executive Director of Project Exploration, who works to ensure equity and access to STEM programs in Chicago.
Special thanks to our host, The Cleveland Avenue Foundation for Education (The CAFE)!
