From the Desk of the Weasel Shaker
The mornings are cold, wet, and dreary.
The fartsack is extra warm and toasty.
Most men would make the excuse of the weather not being cooperative.
Are you most men?
YHC thinks not...

From the Faith Q:

Q-Source is going strong. We continue to meet every Sunday morning at Krispy Kreme 6:45-7:15am.

3/17 – Relationship between a man and a woman
3/24 – Relationship between a man and his children
3/31 – The horizontal relationship between men

Hot Pursuit has started a Bible study, details below:
Want to exercise the 3rd F a bit? There is no better way than to join a small group to get to know some PAX in the circle a little better and sharpen your knowledge of the Bible and its application. After suspending the Tuesday night Bible study for the holiday period, YHC is now starting it up again at the request of several PAX. This is a great time to come try it out for a series. Here are the 5 Ws:

  • What: Weekly Tuesday Bible study session - Focus for this series will be on the Gospel of John in the New Testament.
  • Who: Interested F3ENC PAX and other interested men in the community (FNG's welcome)
  • When: Tuesday Nights, starting on 2/19, From 7:00-8:15 pm
  • Where: Hot Pursuit's House (Tim Wiseman), 1802 N. Thames Ct, Greenville
  • Why: Facilitate learning and spiritual growth; dedicated focus on the Bible; sharing and prayer support (locking shields); and deeper relationships between men and God.

Additional: We will have a target of covering two chapters of the Book of John each week and will allow time for facilitated discussion of the key points. PAX attending are encouraged to bring a Bible (English Standard Version preferred). There will be Bibles available at the study for use. Bringing a dedicated notebook each time to record notes, thoughts, and prayer requests is also a good idea.
Important: PAX are welcomed and encouraged to attend whether or not they have zero, some or a lot of biblical knowledge. This is an EXCELLENT way to find out more about the gospel and faith in a very informal manner.
Questions? Direct message Hot Pursuit in Slack, via the Twitter Machine, or by text/call to 252.702.0046.

Theology by Fire continues to meet every Wednesday night 8-10pm at Krispy Kreme or Nice Body’s backyard (around the fire, when the weather allows). There is a Slack channel for this group #theologybyfire where we talk about the daily Bible reading. So, even if you cannot join us on Wednesday nights, we would love to have you join us on Slack and read through the same plan we are using. We are using the “Read Scripture” app (download it free on your smartphone). Set the start date for Jan. 1, 2019 and join in with where we are today!

From the Expansion Q:
We have a new PAX member who has come to Greenville and posted a few times from Tarboro.  Previously we had a few interested individuals in the Nash County / Rocky Mount area. This is an area we would love to help with an F3 expansion; however, like you all know, it takes a village! We need NUMBERS.

If you know any men in those areas, I suggest you reach out to them and gauge their interest. Tarboro is only a 30-40 minute drive to and from Farmville. Perhaps there is an opportunity there as well.

SEE YOU IN THE GLOOM!
