These are the little Gonzalez siblings, Miguel (9), Valentina (8), Nicolás (6), and Aliza (5) who live in the Zaspe neighborhood, just two blocks from Su Refugio Argentina. Along with their parents, these precious children live a humble life. Just one year ago they lived in a dangerous house on the outskirts of the city but received a government grant for low-income housing near Su Refugio.
They come weekly with other children to the Children’s Care Center to find refuge from the unsafe barrios that surround them. The Lord in His goodness provides them with food, stories of His love through bible teaching, and the affection and care of a loving, Christ-centered staff. Soon these beautiful children will experience the joy of a playground at our site! Our team landed days ago and is working with Kids Around the World to build a playground on the grounds of our Christian school.
Father, YOU are so good! Thank You for your provision and for Your limitless love for these children. As shouts of joy soon fill the grounds, may it be a sweet offering to You. Songs of praise from the voices of those You love so much!
This is a picture of our team leaving San Diego. They will join with more team members in Argentina! Thank You, Lord, for their obedience to answer Your call to serve orphans and widows in distress!
The playground is taking shape! We are praying that the Lord will direct the expected rain away from our site and allow progress on the structure to move at a pace required from completion!
