Registration for Jazz BANG 2019 opens on Monday 11th March at 9am. That's next week.
TELL ME ABOUT THE WORKSHOPS STREAMS
There are 2 mixed level streams of workshops:
- The L.A. stream with Sylvia and Blake, specialising in balboa, bal-swing, and all that west coast goodness.
- The St Louis stream with Jenny and Christian, focussing on central time: St Louis shag, lindy, solo jazz, all that good stuff.
I WANT TO DO EVERYTHING
No, it is not humanly possible.
But if you are registered for an Everything Pass, you can move between workshop streams, provided you have the skills necessary. eg no bal noobs in the LA stream, sorry.
I AM A BAL NOOB AND I WANT TO LEARN WITH SYLVIA AND BLAKE
Ok, this we can do. There will be two taster classes on Friday evening:
- 6.30pm Discover balboa! with Sylvia and Blake
- 7.30pm Discover St Louis shag! with Jenny and Christian
These classes are open to everyone, AND they're included with an Everything Pass, or you can pay at the door. More info? Check the website, frendos.
PASS TYPES?!
- Everything Pass $360, all parties, workshops, classes.
- Full Workshop Pass $280, all Saturday & Sunday workshops.
- Saturday Workshop Pass, Sunday Workshop Pass $160, all workshops in one stream on one day.
- Carers' Pass: two of you share one pass for one stream, and swap in and out of workshops to share caring for a babby, kiddy, or dependent adult.
I JUST WANT TO PARTY
You just want to do the 'Sydney' Stream, eh? Understandable, possible, advisable.
Live bands. The BEST bands. We have hunted down the best Sydney can offer. New singers, new soloists, old music.
Tickets to all parties at the door ($30, $40, $35 respectively).
