Public Schools Week 2019 Will Highlight Excellence, Potential for Public Education

Ninety percent of U.S. students attend a public school, and our nation's future depends on the quality of our public schools. On March 25-29, 2019, members of the Learning First Alliance and partners will celebrate the achievements of public schools and discuss ways to make public education a better system for all. The events will honor PSW logopublic school educators and advocates and their contributions to their schools and communities.
During Public Schools Week, school leaders will invite community members, lawmakers, parents and others to see firsthand the wide array of programs showcasing excellence in teaching and learning that are available in public schools. They also will call on their state and federal representatives to support public education and provide resources to help schools and students meet their highest potential.
