Education on the topic of Medicinal Cannabis and Hemp CBD is both a practitioner and consumer - joint responsibility. The aim is to understand how Hemp CBD is a signature food for the nerve endocannabinoid system and Medicinal Cannabis may assist with the reversal of symptoms of diseases particularly the mid brain area. This may assist with pain management, sleep, nutritional assimilation, nausea, dyskinesia, MS, epilepsy and quality of life aspects.
The Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) in conjunction with State Health Departments have now approved over 3000 prescriptions for Medicinal Cannabis and Hemp CBD as at 22 January 2019. The Office of Drug control has issued 26 Medicinal Cannabis grower and production licences, 15 research licences, 20 manufacturing or importing licences and 56 authorised prescribing doctors.

One of the requirements to obtain a medicinal cannabis prescription is to show you have exhausted conventional medical pharmaceutical treatment methods.
