Parade of Farms 2019

Showcasing agriculture and community of Wai'anae

Parade of Farms, a day-long event, presented by O‘ahu Resource Conservation and Development Council, will take place on:

Saturday May 4, 2019
10:00 AM to 4:00 PM

A free community fair will be hosted at Kahumana Organic Farm and Café and will include community organizations, information on local farming and a variety of locally grown food products.

Guided farm tours will provide a behind-the-scenes tour of local agriculture in Wai‘anae. Ticket purchase is required for these tours and provides transportation departing/arriving back at the Kahumana Organic Farm & Café site.

See what our team was doing and where you can spot our work.

Best practices pay off! The tree cages and windbreaks installed by GoFarm students helped keiki cacao survive high winds early this year without losing leaves or sustaining other damage. O'ahu RC&D visited the recently planted cacao trial site at GoFarm Hawai'i - Waialua.

The O'ahu RC&D staff represented at the Annual Ag Day at the Capitol, sharing resources on sustainable agriculture.
