GPS (Guidance - Perspective - Support) is a tool for LGBTQ and similarly-identified students to utilize as they are navigating their understand of their identities. Mentors provide students with information and resources, perspective of fellow student who has experience with coming out and more.
The Barger Leadership Institute (BLI) will be holding a book drive to collect new and gently used books in Weiser Hall (8th flr). All donations will go to local organizations that inspire school-aged students to read and write skillfully and creatively.

OUT in Field is an initiative with the School of Social Work Office of Field Instruction, that seeks to increase and improve the supportive mechanisms available for MSW students from the TBLGQIA+ community, who are currently carrying out their field placement/internship.
Kelsey Kangos, a doctoral candidate in the Division of Counseling Psychology at the University of Albany, is in need of participants for their dissertation!
The purpose of the study is to better understand how lesbian, gay, and bisexual Christian clients experience psychotherapy/counseling.
The Victory Institute is inviting outstanding LGBTQ college students to apply to the Victory Congressional Internship program for Summer 2019. The Victory Congressional Internship is open to current undergraduate students of all genders, orientations, abilities, races, and political affiliations, including people with majors other than political science. The program will run from May 28th-July 20st, 2019.
"Advancing Excellence in Sexual and Gender Minority Health," is designed to train the whole health care team in providing competent, confident and affirmative health care, grounded in research evidence and best clinical practices. Sessions are led by expert faculty specialized in sexual and gender minority research and patient care. The conference will include didactic presentations as well as interactive panels and case discussions.
The conference will be held at the Boston Seaport Hotel from March 22-24.
