Constitution

As we have put back the AGM one week there has been time to consider the constitution and this would be valuable to add to the motions passed at the meeting.

2020 Prep (School) site

It is necessary to have a council approved site before lodging the Application for Accreditation as a school (Prep 2020). The Application for Accreditation is the door-way to all Government funding.

Several sites have been identified as useful for Prep 2020 and others still need to be explored.

Firstly we need consent of the hall management and once agreement is made then lodgement of an application to council for use of the land. Hence the necessity of an early start to allow committees and governments the time they need. The communication with the various managements has commenced.

Hummingbird Playgroup News

New venue

At the lovely Country Paradise Parkland site it has been difficult to secure bookings.
The venue commences at 9.30am Tuesday 26th March playgroup will be held at
The Uniting Church, 5 Nerang River Drive, Nerang.

An additional site is sought on the coastal side of the Gold Coast between Southport and Burleigh as soon as we can secure a co-ordinator for that area.
