Trusting the Lord

Most of you know by this time that I had heart bypass surgery. On February 26, I experienced some difficulty with breathing and weakness. Sharon felt I should go to the emergency room. When I got there they told me I was having a heart event. That meant that there was something going on with the heart. A catherization showed blockages and in a very short time I was scheduled for the bypass surgery. It went well and I am now two weeks healing. The Lord has given me strength and I am better every day. I appreciate all the prayers and calls. I am blessed with wonderful friends.

I cannot say I understand all of this. I can say I trust the Lord with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength. I do not lean to my own understanding. I choose to delight myself in Him. I had to cancel my trip to Mexico and a  couple of speaking engagements. My desire is to proclaim the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Bless the Lord, oh my soul and all that is within me, bless His Holy Name!!. Can't wait to get back to doing what the Lord has called me too.

I want to encourage men to sign up for the Men's Reignited Event for September 18-21. The last three years have been tremendous and the Lord has touched men in wonderful ways. Please sign up online. It helps our processing and registration.

This picture is a blast from the past. In 1984 I traveled to the Philippines, Hong Kong and Thailand with Pastor Wes Weekley. He had been my pastor when I was about six years old, then left to serve in missions. He asked me to go with him on this trip. It was amazing! We had just arrived in Manilla and he told me I was going to preach at the church that morning. I told him that I had just come to serve him and that he should preach. He insisted that it was my time. We took a taxi to a place and I could not see any buildings that looked like churches. There was a stadium and Bro. Weekley said that was the church. More than10,000 people were there. I prayed for several thousand people all afternoon. It was a unique experience. Since then, I have preached many times to crowds and to a few. It does not matter the size of the crowd, the message is what needs to be proclaimed that Jesus is Lord!!

Another tour is being planned for the Holy Land, January 28 - February 5, 2020. The last tour was excellent. We had many times for prayer and worship. A couple of new things for this tour. One, we will offer a rededication of Wedding Vows at Cana. You will receive a nice certificate. Two, we added an entire day in Jerusalem to allow you to walk around at your own pace, shop, drink coffee and just soak up the atmosphere. We feel that this will add a dimension to this tour for personal spiritual growth. I hope you will join us.

Ronald's Remarks

During this time of restoration, the Lord has been so wonderful to us. Finances have come from so many and I have seen the blessings of the Lord through relationships. People came from several states to be with Sharon during my surgery. Churches took up offerings. I say it here so many times, but relationships are what makes us rich. I have wonderful family and friends. I will always be grateful to the Lord for allowing me the opportunity to serve in His Kingdom
