HELPING OUR STUDENTS AND OUR SCHOOL

COSTA RICA SERVICE TRIP
Several Inman students are participating in the Global Education Squads, a program that provides students with an enrichment experience that connects the classroom to the real-world. This year over spring break, students will be visiting Costa Rica.  The trip will provide students with the opportunity to compare Costa Rican and American cultures and to learn about life in Costa Rica and includes a service project.  Learn more HERE. Thank you to all of the students who have helped raise funds for the trip already by purchasing ice cream at lunch!  Ms. Varner, the Inman teacher sponsor, has also set up a GoFundMe for the trip.  Any funds not use for this year's trip will start the fundraising for next year's trip to Cuba.  You can donate HERE.

Donors Choose.org is connecting the public to public schools!

DonorsChoose.org is a nonprofit website that helps public school teachers get funding for materials and experiences that will help their students learn.  At Donors Choose, teachers request the tools and experiences their students need most, and donors support the classroom requests that inspire them. Donors Choose received the highest ranking from Charity Navigator for transparency and efficacy 13 years running, putting us in the top 1% of organizations rated by the charity watchdog.  Many of the staff are former teachers and the team has vetted and fulfilled over 1.3 million classroom project requests that range from butterfly cocoons, to robotics kits, to Little House on the Prairie.  Each week we will spotlight our Inman teachers, giving our community a chance to support our school.

If They Can DREAM It, They Can ACHIEVE It!
Creating, building, and making are an everyday part of Dr. Sparrow’s  7th grade science classroom. Her students are not only interested in science, but many of her students are also artistically gifted. The Cricut machine will allow her students to take their science projects to the next level by providing a tool to make amazing creations.  Please click HERE to donate.
