The week of April 7, 2019 is National Volunteer Appreciation Week. This is a time to honor the countless volunteers who selflessly serve at organizations across our nation.
And at Gilgal, we certainly don’t want to miss the opportunity to celebrate you – our valued volunteers. So please join us for a special event honoring you on Saturday, April 13th at 10:00 a.m.It’s our way of saying “Thank You” for all that you do to bless us throughout the year.
Our theme this year for our 5th Annual Blue Jean Gala is “LOVE CAPTURES.” It’s truly representative of the special way in which our God of Love Himself pursues and transforms the hearts of the Gilgal women. So, we thought we’d tie this theme into April‘s event and showcase some of the many “Love Captures” God has accomplished through our amazing Gilgal volunteers.
There are so many ways we see His love manifested through you. Maybe you helped with our renovations, trained us for a 5k, led a class, organized a makeover and red carpet reveal, did some yardwork, served on a committee or participated in “behind the scenes work.” However, you served, in big ways and small, we want to say THANK YOU and celebrate you in April!
So, mark your calendars now and make plans to join us on Saturday, April 13th at 10:00 am at our Gilgal Campus. We’ve got a special volunteer appreciation program planned as part of our Family and Friends Day. It will include lots of yummy food, fellowship and fun! You won’t want to miss it!
