ROUNDTABLE FOR REGEN
On 21 March we held a ‘meeting of the minds’ at Southern Cross University with a number of key Alliance members (pictured below). The purpose was to develop recommendations to Government for key strategic long-term solutions for Australia’s prosperity; making Australia more resilient to drought and climate change.
The Alliance is an independent, non-partisan and inclusive coalition offering high quality, scientific, evidence based and practically orientated solutions for stakeholders in order to tackle issues related to climate change adaption and drought resilience through regenerative agriculture.
The Farming Together experience has taught us that collaboration is absolutely the key to the regenerative agriculture movement.
There are very complex problems that we are facing in Australia and globally. We are going to need the smartest minds sitting around the table to be able to solve these problems and help our farmers become resilient.
The Regenerative Ag Alliance is bringing together the leading practitioners and the leading researchers and academics from around Australia, all with particular expertise different areas of regenerative agriculture. It’s a very important piece of work.
